Emily Cardenas | PRESIDENT
Hi everyone! My name is Emily Cardenas, and I am incredibly honored to serve as the 2026-2027 President of Bobcat Belles.
Like many students, I came to Texas State looking to start a new chapter, but unsure of where I would find my place. I was leaving behind everything familiar and searching for a community that would challenge me, support me, and help me grow into the person I wanted to become.
I found that community in Bobcat Belles!
What started as an organization quickly became my home away from home. Through every Wednesday night meeting, football game, service events, and shared memories, I found women who inspired me to lead with confidence, serve with purpose, and show up authentically every day. The friendships I have built through this organization have shaped my college experience in ways I could never have imagined, and they are relationships I know I will carry with me long after graduation.
Since 2011, our mission as Bobcat Belles extends far beyond the sidelines. We are committed to cultivating confident leaders, empowering women to reach their full potential, and creating a sisterhood rooted in support, growth, and genuine connection. Through our shared passion for the Texas State Football program, we build lifelong friendships while making a meaningful impact in the San Marcos community. Whether we're volunteering with the Hays Caldwell Women's Center, supporting NO MORE, or representing Texas State with pride, we strive to lead through service and leave a positive mark wherever we go. The opportunity to uplift others while growing alongside such incredible women is what makes being a Belle so special.
Bobcat Belles has given me some of my greatest memories, strongest friendships, and most meaningful opportunities for growth. It has challenged me, encouraged me, and helped shape the woman I am today. For that, I will always be grateful.

We are committed to fostering a strong sisterhood through a variety of activities, including recruitment events, date parties, Big/Little bonding experiences, banquets, community service projects, and social gatherings. Our impact extends throughout the San Marcos community, where we engage in numerous fun and meaningful activities.
