Howdy!
My name is Shauné Smith, and I have the utmost honor of serving as the 2025-2026 Bobcat Belle President. As you explore our website, I hope you feel the passion, spirit, and authenticity that define who we as on organization are.

Since our founding, Bobcat Belles has remained committed to fostering growth, leadership, and meaningful connection among its members while supporting Texas State University’s football program and the broader San Marcos community. We is dedicated to fostering growth in every member, celebrating womanhood, and building meaningful, lasting relationships. We pride ourselves on serving beyond our organization, whether it’s cheering on the Texas State football team or volunteering with the Hays Caldwell Women’s Center and No More to uplift those in need. Giving back to our community is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and it means the world to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

When I joined Bobcat Belles as a freshman, I was seeking a place where I could grow both personally and professionally while forming genuine, lifelong connections. As a former drill team member, I longed for that same sense of unity, love, and encouragement I’d once known. Recruitment felt intimidating at first, but I quickly learned that the Belles aren’t just beautiful on the outside they are even more beautiful at heart. I made lifelong connections during my first recruitment that I still treasure today. Over time, my love for this organization and its members has only grown, and I’m grateful my freshman self took the leap to step out of her comfort zone. That choice led me to my happy place and even to my future bridesmaids.

Being a Belle has been the highlight of my college experience. This organization has exceeded every expectation, providing a support system, leadership opportunities, and friendships I will carry with me long after graduation. I am beyond excited to lead this year and can’t wait to see all that we accomplish together.
